PRESS RELEASE.
Tokyo, Japan – May 2026.
TEAMZ Inc. has confirmed that TEAMZ Summit will return in 2027, following the conclusion of TEAMZ Summit 2026 – the largest edition of the event to date and one of the most significant Web3 and AI gatherings held anywhere in the world this year.
TEAMZ Summit 2026 took place on April 7-8, 2026, at Happo-en, Tokyo, drawing more than 10,000 attendees from over 50 countries, hosting 130 or more speakers, and supporting 100 or more side events as part of Tokyo Web3/AI Week. Partners included Binance, XRP, Cardano, SBI VC Trade, Startale, EMURGO, AAC Holdings, Envo, Bitcoin.com, and TRON, among others.
A Summit That Reflected an Industry at an Inflection Point
TEAMZ Summit 2026 brought together heads of state ministries, central bank representatives, global institutional investors, and the founders of the industry’s most consequential projects on a single stage.
Japan’s Minister of Finance and Financial Services, three sitting political figures, and the Deputy Chief Representative of Banca d’Italia all participated – alongside executives from BlackRock Japan, SMBC, and Flow Traders, and global names including Charles Hoskinson, Justin Sun, Yat Siu, and Takafumi Horie. The breadth of participation marked a turning point in how governments, institutions, and the Web3 industry engage with one another in Japan.
“The dialogue and collaboration we’ve seen over these two days will help define the next chapter of Japan’s digital asset industry,” said Tianyu Yang, Founder and CEO of TEAMZ Summit. “At TEAMZ, we are dedicated to carrying this momentum forward into 2027 and beyond.”
TEAMZ Summit 2027 – Larger, More International, Earlier
Planning for TEAMZ Summit 2027 is now underway. The 2027 edition will build directly on the scale and participation of 2026, with an expanded international programme, a broader speaker roster, and increased capacity for sponsors, exhibitors, and ecosystem partners.
Key objectives for 2027 include:
- Greater international representation across speakers, sponsors, and attendees
- Expanded programming across Web3, AI, digital finance, and policy
- Earlier partner onboarding to provide sponsors and exhibitors with more lead time and greater visibility
- Continuity of dialogue on the themes that defined 2026 – trust infrastructure, RWA tokenization, stablecoins, AI integration, and Japan’s role in global Web3 adoption
Bitcoin.com, which served as a strategic global media and ecosystem partner for TEAMZ Summit 2026, will continue its support of the summit as it grows into 2027.
